Job description

As an experienced Medical Manager, you will be focused on developing Bioderma and Institut Esthederm medical strategies to raise awareness in the UK Scientific and Medical community. The role includes doctor visits (mainly dermatologists), management and improvement of key opinion leaders’ network, development of relations between NAOS UK and the local scientific community in line with NAOS Medical Strategy (example:  leading round tables with KOL’s)

You will have excellent networking skills and show proactivity in recruiting key opinion leaders for the brands during specific events such symposium and congresses. The role requires the Medical Manager to have a deep understanding in biology and science behind skin conditions and our medical products. You will be running projects as well managing a team member.

The role requires to understand how “recommendations” from professionals will influence our business, rather than “prescriptions” as we are not a NHS prescribed brand, but rather OTC.

As Medical manager, your key responsibilities will be:

Medical Strategy

- Develop and manage NAOS UK Medical Network

- Prospect , organize and lead events such congresses, round tables and partnerships addressed to the UK Scientific Community, in order to support product launches and/or raise awareness.

- Cooperate with speakers in order to promote and present products during events dedicated to the Scientific Community

- Develop and follow tools for medical department and medical visits: collect information from teams and scientific files, brief designers, manage printings

Management

- Manage and forecast the budget for NAOS UK medical department

- Support and follow up medical visits

- Managing a junior team member

Clinics management:

- Working with sales team on opening new accounts and manage existing accounts

- Process clinics orders

- Develop and maintain clinics network, notably through staff trainings

Training / Support:

- Train NAOS UK internal dept. such as Marketing and Sales infusing medical knowledge regarding ranges / products / skin conditions / scientific methods and researches

- Approve the medical wording in all NAOS UK digital and printed tools

Skills

- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills

- 3 years in similar role with Scientific or Medical background

- Education required: MSc is a Master of Science degree (Pharmacist, Biologist, etc.. )

- Great knowledge of dermo cosmetic market or dermatology industry

- Proven Field Experience as a medical representative
